Summary: The apartments themselves were great! They were cleaned every day, located close to the beach, had a beautiful view, and everything worked as it should. However, we had problems when we arrived at the hotel because the previous guests had left the key inside the apartment (the doors lock automatically). As a result, the key was not in the lockbox where we were supposed to collect it, so we had no way of getting into the apartment. Fortunately, some people staying at the hotel helped us get into the lobby and call Domenico, and eventually we were able to access our room. The next day, Domenico called us and blamed us for the whole situation, which came as a shock since we had nothing to do with the missing key. He was also very rude during the phone call. The communication before we arrived at the hotel was not very good either. He had asked us to send photos of our IDs, which we did, but apparently he couldn’t see them in the chat. He never informed us about this until he called us, speaking very rudely, talking over me, and not listening to what I was saying. The rest of the week, however, everything went smoothly and we had no further problems.
