Summary: NOT A 4*!!! This hotel is advertised as a 4* however, it’s more 3*. We were bed and breakfast and if you want to pay for anything you have to load up a card(quite normal for some hotels). If you don’t use the card then you get the money back in cash rather than having it put back on your card. PLEASE BE AWARE: you have to pay to sit by the pool or sea €7 per bed per day. This surprised me as you pay handsomely to stay here. The pool, although lovely is more of a children’s pool, the beach is a little walk away and although clean, it had a steep decent. The room was dark and dingy. The AC was not strong enough for the room and so we were unable to sleep. There were hairs in the bed and the plug hole in the shower was unblocked by my husband by pulling out a LOT of hair. The breakfast was plentiful but boring. I suspect this might be indicative of a 3* hotel but you expect more of a 4*. Oh and, it is prohibited to fill up your water bottle from their machine in the mornings. It was €28 per person per night for the evening meal - limited choice. If driving, the car park gets full at the weekend and the track down to the hotel is more of a rough track rather than road. The area is quiet, the town of Cardedu was nice but very quiet. We didn’t eat other meals at the hotel so went looking for places to eat - Tortoli is great! Nice places to eat, nice shops, nice beaches near by. There MUST be nicer places to stay in the area than this hotel for the money we paid.
